Today the District of Peachland and Peachland Recreation kicked off their Canada's 150th Anniversary of Confederation celebrations!
I was so happy to join them and present a special Canada 150 Flag to them as part of my Canada 150 Flag Program! This afternoon I was privileged to speak to two classes of civic minded Grade 9's at Constable Neil Bruce Middle School! These students are engaged in their community and their government - and who knows...our next Prime Minister could be in this group!
 Today I am launching a Canada 150 Flag Program to present a special Canada 150 flag to the communities throughout our region! There are so many fun and positive events being planned across the country, and I want to help our Okanagan, Similkameen, and Nicola cities and towns with their celebrations!
The first flag presentation took place today with City of West Kelowna. More to come! |
