This afternoon, at the Okanagan Regional Library Westbank Branch, the Westbank Museum & Visitor Centre gave a special presentation on the Okanagan Fur Brigade Trail. The Library also has a display set up on the history of the Trail for the remainder of the week. I definitely recommend all you Okanagan history buffs to check it out! This weekend I was working to #FreeTheBeer in Nova Scotia! We must work across Canada to ensure Canadians can trade with Canadians no matter their province.

Had a great day in Princeton last week. It was the opening of the Princeton Traditional Music Fest, and I also held a "Coffee Conversations" meeting! Had fun dancing, and had even more fun hearing from the residents of Princeton about the issues that are important to them. August 18, 2016
This morning was this Grand Opening of The Salvation Army Central Okanagan's new Community Life Centre in Westbank! This is such an amazing addition to the community, and will help serve the residents of the Greater Westside. Welcome to Westbank, we're so glad you're here!  This weekend I was honoured by being invited to do a ball drop at the Josh Gorges Street Hockey Tournament! It was such a fun day! Everyone came out to play some hockey, and support a new St. Joseph school.
So happy to wish the very best to Canada's Olympic Athletes from the Okanagan area.
Kierra Smith and Taylor Ruck in swimming, and Will Dean in rowing, are going to do great this summer! This August long weekend I got a chance to visit Silver Lake Camp in Peachland!
