 Had a great time with my fellow West Coasters this morning! The BC and Yukon Tory caucus met with Rona Ambrose to talk about the issues important to our region.

Tuesday, December 6th is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. In 1991, the Parliament of Canada commemorated this day to mark the anniversary of the 1989 murders of 14 young women at l’Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. This Day of Remembrance and Action is an opportunity for us to reflect on violence against women and remember those women who have died due to senseless violence.
It was an honour to pay homage to a mentor and friend of mine in the House of Commons. Rest in Peace Fred King.
