Had the Liberal government not booked increased Liberal spending in the 2015-2016 fiscal year, the government would have reported a $2.9 Billion surplus.
I mention this as the Finance Minister has contested this fact multiple times. I hope now that the facts are known, that the Fiance Minister will correct the record that his government was, in fact, left a surplus by the previous Conservative government. |
