My name is Elio Ricciardi, I have lived in Penticton since 1984 and have known Dan ever since.

Mr Albas is a very hard working person, very eager, reliable; he has good morals and cares for the future of this community.

He has volunteered for many good causes for this City, and one has to appreciate his efforts, I do.

I think that Penticton needs someone like Dan Albas at City- Hall; I know he will work very hard.

Mr Albas will bring fresh ideas, and his ambition will enhance the business and issues at City-Hall.

Dear Dan:

           We wish to thank you so much for getting the ball rolling for the new 200 block Downtown Community Market. If not for your initiative to meet with us and introduce us to Andrew Jakubeit at the Downtown Penticton Association, we would have remained at an impasse after having been rejected by the Farmer's Market and ignored by the Mayor's office. Your ability to make such connections happen quickly and efficiently was indeed a breath of fresh air after all the problems we had encountered.

          After a very successful summer as vendors here, we can honestly say that we owe you a tremendous debt for taking the time to help us brainstorm and create the new market. It has given us and many other new people in town excellent exposure and opportunity, as well as some faith in what community spirit can create.

          We hope that you will soon be given a forum in which to put your wonderful civic talent to use.  As Naramations we can't vote, but we'd like to offer some delicious items if we can be of help during your campaign.
